Introducing Dana
Dana Lance (She/Her) is a Filipinx and Japanese dancer who likes to incorporate elements of art with anything and everything creative and experimental. Her interest in the visual and performing arts started as long as she can remember! From being a part of choir to trying out instruments such as piano and guitar to finally focusing on dance in her early junior years. Lance has taken classes and styles ranging from break dancing, hip hop, house, afro fusion, and dance hall just to name a few. Her love of teaching dance has expanded to work with all types of students – from youth, international students, or young toddlers she welcomes all types of students!
The North End Stay & Play dance workshops will be a way to engage dance, movement, and creativity all in one. No previous dance experience is required and we ask you to be yourself, be in comfortable clothes, and bring a positive attitude! We will explore some simple and energetic movement that will connect participants with both your body and mind. There may be some opportunity to use props to further engage in the workshops and have more fun 🙂
